This policy explains how JKT Commercial Services Limited (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use this website or contact us about HGV workshop work.

We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions can go to the email or number above.

2. Data we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and to carry out the job:

• Name and contact details (phone, email, and sometimes a business name)
• Vehicle details you send us (make, model, registration, mileage, fault or service due)
• The job you want booked, and when you need the vehicle back
• Enquiry and job history, including emails and notes from a call
• The one browser preference that hides the cookie notice after you tap OK (see the Cookie Policy)

If you open Contact, Google may also process data for the map embed. That is Google’s processing, not ours. Details are on the Cookie Policy.

3. How we use it

We use this information to:

• Reply to a call, email or website enquiry
• Quote for work and book a vehicle into the yard
• Carry out servicing, repair, diagnostics, PMI or MOT preparation
• Keep the business records we are required to keep (tax, invoices, warranty or complaint follow-up)

We do not use your details for advertising lists, and we do not sell them.

4. Legal bases

Under UK GDPR we rely on:

• Legitimate interests — answering an enquiry and running the workshop
• Steps toward a contract — when you ask us to quote or book work
• Legal obligation — records we must keep for tax and similar duties

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only share it where it is needed to complete the job or where the law requires it, for example:

• Parts suppliers or specialists we use for a specific job
• Insurers, fleet operators or a driver you have asked us to speak to
• Our website host and email provider, who process messages on our behalf
• Google, if you load the map on the Contact page

6. Retention

Enquiry and job records are kept for as long as needed for the work, tax, and any warranty or complaint that may follow. We then delete or anonymise them. The cookie-notice preference stays in your browser until you clear it.

7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, or object to certain uses. Write to info@jktcommercial.com or call 07592 415189.

8. Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. The data protection note is a short companion to this policy.
